Ive helped a couple friends with First Gen explorers like mine, where the fuel guage goes and gets stuck on E... and its like clock work, a full day dropping the tank and BOOM the float is full of gas.
Ok well, mine is finally acting up, but it doesnt go to E, it goes to F! so... you think my float is full of helium? hah!
i was thinking the wires to the sending unit... its gotta be a short somewhere
intresting enough it works intermittently... like once a day my gauge will work...
anyone else had this problem? before i drop my tank?
