Gas milage and other ?'s

Hey guys! We just bought an '05 XLT with the 4.0 V6. I believe it is an AWD model (not too familiar with 'em). It has the "AdvancTrac" badge on the tailgate and the 4x4 button says "4x4auto".

So there's the info, here's the question's.....

1st) What kinda milage does everyone get out of these? If I did the math right last night, which I'm pretty sure I did, it averaged 23 mpg's with a mix of city and highway driving.

2nd) Where can I go to get more info on this AdvancTrac system?

I have an 03 and I do almost all city driving, to and from school and im getting about 13mpg with mine and I drive it very easy. To clarify you dont have an all wheel drive model you have 4WD one. The normal mode is 4WD Auto this is for everyday driving, it uses the ABS sensor to detect wheel slip and when its noticed the computer tells the front drive shaft to engage. I dont have the Advanced Trac in mine but all its just a traction control system, again to prevent wheel slip.

Edit: The one time I really had it on the road was going to Pennsylvania from NY with my jetski on the back doing about 80 up and down hills and I averaged 18mpg

Did a road trip yesterday of exactly 200 miles one way. Turned in 20 mpg, both to and from. All interstate, mostly running 75 mph. This was actual, not message center mileage.

In town is a steady 13 mgp over the last 4 tanks. Yesterday was the first out of town trip. Ran great.
