Gas Mileage Dropping Like Enron Stock

I've got you all beat. I normally get in the 170's to 190's out of a tank. I've got new plugs/wires, drilled air box w/ K&N filter, cleaned the MAF,cleaned the throttle body, new transmission fluid, feul injector cleaner w/ every oil change, plus a few others. I have not changed the O2 sensors because of the price for 3(?) of them.

Jeff, how many miles onyour truck? BTW you only have 2 o2 sensors and I recommend changing them. They're about 45 bucks a piece.

I've only got 95,000 miles and I thought the O2 sensors were over $100 each. I will now look into it today. I also thought I saw 3 of them , so I will look again. I would love to get 20MPG +.

I can get 245 a tank if driving alot of highway, Running KKM, Jetchip, headers and single flowmaster, 8.5 MM wires and ever dependable Autolite plugs, Leave those fancy Bosch plugs for the ricers!

i went from about 250 miles to a tank to about 200.

I went from 200mpg to 100mpg. It was the fuel pressure regulator. Cost me $475 for the ford dealer to replace. Then I came to the boards and saw you can do it for round a $100.

Check your oxygen sensor, if it's covered in black crap then your FPR could be the cause. FPR allowing too much fuel in system burns rich and creates black soot. You can also run the code checker on it too see if it says the o2 sensor has bit it. Thats how I started my troubleshooting. Hope this helps.
