I get about 250-275 miles per tank. I fill it until it's full and then put in an extra $.50 or so. Is this normal gas mileage for my car? BTW most of it is highway mileage.

"per tank" isn't an accurate measurement. To be accurate, you must know how much gas you're putting in, then burning.

It is a 21 gallon tank. Last time I filled up, I put 20.2 gallons in.

Thanks EB, to rephrase my question, how many miles do most of you get per tank of gas, meaning filling it and driving until the fuel light goes on?

I average a little more than 500 highway miles on my 20 gal tank.

I actually thought there was more information in that, maybe it was another thread. My check gage light (low fuel), comes on after about 40 miles, but that's because I can never afford to fill it! But actually for mine I can get probably around 200-250 miles, but it's so rare that I fill it that I usually forget. Right now I'm close to 200 miles with around a quarter tank left.

Well, 13-14 mpg isn't that great; but isn't unheard of.
