gas mileage! wtf?

After reading some of the threads about gas milage, I started paying attention to milage just driving around the city. I have noticed that i get around 240-260(with 3 fill ups) on 400 mile trips(Connecticut to Buffalo, NY), which is lower than I get in my 5.0 Mustang(about 360 on 2 fill ups, with a smaller tank). So, after filling up on Friday, I've gone 170 miles, with some highway(still in the city), and have gotten 170 after 3/4's of a tank. Granted, I've only changed the air filter and serpentine belt since I bought it in Feb of 03', but have changed the oil on a regular basis. Also put new tires on in dec 03', not that this would make a major difference. I will do the basic tune up in a few days or so to see if this will make a difference. But I also wonder should I change the FPR? Also I added Seafoam to the intake, oil, and gas tank. It does seem to run better after doing this, much better response and accleration. Any suggestions?

Try giving your truck a good tune up.. Plugs, wires, etc.. clean the IAC & MAF sensors.

Thanks, I 'll definitley start there, but I'm still wondering should I consider replacing the FPR? I haven't had any hesitation or start up problems, but it is a 91. Any opinions?
