Can you put a regular gas tank in the cab instead of using a fuel cell? I'd assume that it would hold in vapors and whatnot, and pretty much function the exact same as a fuel cell. But, I've never seen anyone do it.
The reason I'm asking is because I just picked up a 35 gallon tank from a 1985 Dodge 15 passenger van for free. I've always wanted to do a dual tank setup. But, I figured that 1 35 gallon tank is just as good as 1 20 and 1 15, and I don't have to worry about the selector valve ever failing, and it was free.
So, can I just throw this thing in and strap it down, or is there more too it?
