Quick question, I just got a Scanguage II and installed it in my vehicle which is a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport SOHC V6, I am in the process of calibrating the Scanguage and running initial setup.

I have a question about the gas tank size.

http://www.explorerforum.com/ntrprize/spec2001.htm

The above link says the fuel tank is a 20.5 gallon but the Manual in my vehicle lists the tank size as 17.5 Is there a difference between the sport and non sport or other vehicles of the same year in terms of gas tank capacity?

Ive done some searches but I see some posting its a 17.5 and some others posting its a 20.5 on various sites on the internet.

The link posted isn't showing the sport. The sport's have smaller tanks. So, you would have the 17.5

Thats what I thought its hard to find specs for Sport version for some reason, Most sites and listings usually only list the Regular Explorer or the Sport Trac version which aren't always the same components.

Thanks for the reply and info.

Of things that are specific for the sports, it's always harder to find. They are the minority.

Now that you've had the Scan Gauge II for about a month, how do you like it?

I've been looking to buy one for my 2002 Explorer Sport, hoping that by monitoring fuel mileage while driving I can possibly squeeze out a bit better mileage in these days of $3+/gal fuel.
