gauge not reading

hey guys yesterday i insatalled autometer temp gauge short sweep electrical installed the temp sensor with a 3/8 T fitting with 3/8 male pipe into the tranny line before entering the radiator the 12v sources to the starter soleniod an groung to the fender and drove
around for about an hour an nothing gauge doesnt read at all......... will post pics once i get my camrea wife has it

does any body have a clue what could be wrong

Finally got it to work

tech guy from autometer help me with the problem it ground out the fitting were the sender is connected to
