GE Nighthawk/Silverstar

Just wondering if anyone has the nighthawks or has had them, and if they are any good. There was a thread awhile back saying they werent quite as good as Silverstars, but im just curious. Currently i have Phillips CrystalVision,i think, in my hi/lo. Wow, were they an improvement over the stock bulbs and i got them without "researching them" for like $25. Im prolly gonna go pick up some silverstars for my fogs but i was just seeing if anyones tried the Nighthawks.

got my silverstar fogs and they are amazing, i can practically drive with only the fog lights on. Cant wait till i get them for headlights! lol

haha, what a difference. I would like to get HID's because they look sweet and should work better, but i dont want to spend a couple hundred on just lights. but those really nice . i would be happy with all silverstars all around

Aloha, a while back there was a very INTENSE discussion between the GE and the Sylvania loyalists. It got quite nasty. A few guys even posted bona fide scientific comparisons-! between the two. Here's what it came down to, if I recall correctly:

1. GE Nighthawks are OBJECTIVELY brighter (they used some equipment to test the light output), HOWEVER...

2. Sylvania Silverstars were SUBJECTIVELY brighter, as seen by real drivers driving on dark streets.

I went with the Nighthawks because I was with the GE fanatics. I didn't see any appreciable difference - in fact, no difference at all. But no sense crying over spilled milk now.
