gears or no gears???

if i get 33" tires then should i got with new gears or will the stock be okay on a 1996 V6 4x4???
if so, what size should i get???

You will definitely need gears. I suggest 4.56 since you have a 4.0

with my 33's and 4.10's 65 is about 2200k rpm's. i cant imagine that 4.56's would be anymore than around 2500k??? But with that big of a tire you need it to keep the extra stress of the transmission. We all know how weak these v-6 tranny's can be.
