Georgia Off-Roading

Does anyone know of some good off roading trails/sites in the Atlanta Metro Area? (i.e-Fulton, Gwinett, Cobb Co.)

Welcome to the site, GT. That is actually my home turf (I graduated from Walton HS), but I don't know of anywhere local to hit the dirt. Some places I can think of in the SE:

• Amicalola State Park. http://www.dnr.state.ga.us/dnr/parks/
• Suches, GA (near NC, I think).
• War Woman Path -- I for the life of me can't remember where it is, though.
• Tellico ORV is an infamous (notorious? ) park up near Murphy, NC. http://www.tellico4x4.com/trailinfo.htm
• Big South Fork NRA -- Northern TN. http://www.nps.gov/biso/
• Cohutta Wilderness -- Near Ellijay.
