but I need some advice on how to wire the 4 lightforce lights on the front of the rack ?

how to bring the power up to the roof for the 4 lights ?
without drilling ???

thanks,

Hi Bill,

What I did on my rack was to run my wiring down thru the back hatch and then thru the hole left by removing the rear washer fill tube. I also removed the resivour to make room for a relay switch bank. The switch bank is mounted on plexiglass. That way I was able to run lighter gauge wire to the control switches on the dash, and the power leads from the battery (#4 AWG Stranded) supply power to the relays in the rear of the X, not from under the dash. Less power drop that way. I have 4 sets of lights on my roof rack, 3 facing forward and 1 set facing the rear for backup lights.

Oh, btw, to make it simple to remove the rack so I can park in the garage. I used a 7 pin trailer plug set mounted to the rack that serves as a quick disconnect.

Hope this helps!

Jim
