I hate to say 'hello, heres what I need, but I do need. My 1997 exp columbus ltd. is not releasing the front hubs. It has vacuum hubs and my chiltons manual does not show that setup? When the front hubs do not get vacuum, is it in FWD? Where does the vacuum come from? The vehicle is used by the Mrs. and when she backs out of a parking spot it acts like it is in FWD even though it is in auto Fwd. I just don't know where to begin. Any help? Thanks in advance. Dick, in Post Falls, Idaho.

Welcome to the forum!

Check the vacuum lines-particularly around the vacuum reservoir bottle-

although this is an ac repair thread-it showa the vacuum lines and bottle well

Now
down by your bottle you should see a small t-with a white and red vaccum line-
this is the vacuum supply to the hub-
