GLP for a 4.0 Explorer

Have anyone some experience with LPG?, I'm Thinking about this, an I presume that a will install in my explorer the GLP system.
In Paraguay (I live here) the fuel cost go up 40% in tho months.
Today ONE LITER cost 0.55 c dollar.
1 galon cost two dolars.
Is so much, the average income is 2000 dollars /year
The glp cost 50 per cent less than the fuel.
Did anyone here used LPG in his vehicle.
Have anyone any bad experience with LPG?

It can be done, but it is extreemly hard on the top end of the engine and requires hardened valve seats. I don't have any experience with it, other than what I have read, but it could be a viable solution to saving money on gas.

A couple of other things to take into consideration before doing a conversion to burn LPG.

1. The cost of the conversion (Vaporiser, holding tank, lines and so on)
2. It takes 5 time more LPG to generate the same amount of HP/KW.
