Going all Manik on the X

I think I've settled on getting a Manik grille guard and tail light guards, but there's a couple questions I need answered first.

1. How will a full grille guard affect the airbags and other "safety" features?

2. Does the added weight on the front of the vehicle affect performance at all in terms of handling and traction?

I haven't seen these answered anywhere yet and would like any help. Any other heads up for grille guards would be appreciated since this isn't a small purchase.

The grill guard may affect your airbag activation. There are no criteria for testing add on brushguards in the US like there is in Australia so there is really no way to tell if the system will be affected.

I never had a problem with the extra weight of a winch and custom bumper on my Ex.
