I had to do it... I had no choice... It had to be done... But it hurt so much... You had 11 miles on your clock when I picked you up... You had 225813 the last time I saw you... We had been all over the place. Canada twice, that baseball road trip to the Jake, CoAmerica, and Comiski. Countless trips to The Cape to go fishing. (you liked that) Not to mention the time we went to Manhatan and saw Ground Zero. That must have been the hottest I have ever seen but you kept me nice and cool inside. I know you especaly liked it when were went to Detroit. We parked right outside your Uncle Henry's Musieum. You were so proud to be there. We were even shown in the Boston Globe together. I showed all my friends like a proud dad showing off his kid... You never let me down... And thank you. Even though your timing chains slapped around and made the most horrific noise sometimes you still ran as strong as the day we met. I think you were just pretending to be like your big brother with the 7.3. I didn't care that you only had the 4.0. That was fine with me. You knew that I only used them at work. Your trany would miss a shift every now and then and you let me know it by flashing your O/D light. Thats how I knew you were tired and I would let you rest a little while... And you were ok with it and I was ok with you. Thats why I had to do it. I had to trade you in... and I am sorry... The baby is a few months away and with only 2 doors it would have been too difficult for you to handle it. I knew you were mad when you wouldn't let go of the license plate. I had to get the '05. Yeah it has the V8 and gets better gas mileage than you but I will miss you terrably. I hope who ever gets you will take good care of you like I did. They may not give you Mobil 1 every 3000 miles like I did but don't hold that against them. They just don't know you like I do. Please forgive me. I won't forget you. If we happen to pass each other out in this cruel world give me a flash of the lights or a toot of your horn.
