I live near Lebec California at the top of the Grapevine. Have been a mechanic for many years. Currently employed as John Deere Technician. Much automotive experience except we always got rebuilt trannys to install (I rebuilt about ten or so way back when until I had bad luck on one and we decided to go with rebuilt.)
Well I am entering my second childhood perhaps and wanting to help out friends who have trans issues on these mountains.
Currently my sons and I went thru a 2001 Explorer 2wd trans. After install it still does not have reverse. I will be searching the forum and if anyone wishes to point me to a solution, we would be happy for that. Thanks. and have GR8 weekend........
