thats the smae way i hadmy VR3mounted till i got it stolen and now i have my RF mounted in the same spot.
Hey quick hint for you with your VR3 though..... make sure yours is secured GOOD. mine was really tight but they jsut grabbed and ripped mien right off... and you no the black things around the mountinghole ? thats all that was left on the seatof my amp
XplorerKid: Thanks for the heads up. I also have the 200 Watt 2 channel amp. I have it screwed down using the screw holes on the amp. How else could i secure it and leave it in the same spot?
To tell you the truth i dont know how to make it stronger. My VR3 got stolen but it was powering a Pionner IMPP (older model) but stolen also but it powered pretty nice. My new RF has a better mounting system and i used bolts this time before i jsut had screws. If you look tho the mounting system for the VR3 is not all that good.
Well how about the sport? I have a two amp setup The amp for the subs are mounted on the sub box for now and then I'm thinking of mounting the amp for the door speakers under the seats like JRGAYLOR did, but when you think about it with the 2 door you have to move this seat back and forth alot to allow people in the back, or does anybody here have any better suggestions for the door speakers amp. It's a Sony Xplod 444W with 2 components for the front and 3-way speakers for the back. ????????????????
i just finished my new floor in the back (cargo area). it's carpeted green crush velvet along with the box for my 15's. i mounted both my 1600 excellons on it in front of the box and hid the wires under the floor. i made it stick up about 3/4 of an inch for room for the wires. it looks really nice now and you can't see any wires. i have my xm radio box where jrgaylor has his amp.
speaking of amps under seats...how do they fit under power seats?? I've been toying with the idea of mounting an amp to the underside of the rear seats for months now. not to the floor, or the back of the seats, but upside-down mounted to straps or wood or something. probably metal straps. but under the front seats sounds better IF i can fit them underneath since they are power seats!
Yes it is. I also have 2 more neons in the back. A total of 3 blue in the back and one red in the front under the dash. The blue ones in the rear are grounded to a bolt under the rear seats.
