I purchased my MT/R's in June and have put them through a number of tests. With running rocks, sand, loose rocks etc. They are great in loose rocks and boulder running with me yet to have damaged the sidewalls in anyway. RIght now I have somewhere around 7,000 miles on them and they still look new. Traction is great and if you run in areas with lots of rocks, mud or loose stuff they are great. About the only weakness I can say about them is they are not all that great in the sand unless you lower the pressure down to about 15 lbs. Otherwise they are great. I have them rotated every 3,000 miles or so and have no cupping or adverse wear. As for the price I paid 1,050 for 5 tires so that are not cheap
