guys, im getting rid of my firestones (im gonna do the reimbursement thing.) i got a quote from one guy who has 4 rt/s's in stock but would have to order the 5th for the spare (he said itll be about july 17th when he gets it in.) another guy has 5 at/s's coming in tomorrow. the first guy wants $150/tire installed and the second guy wants $157/tire installed.

i had my heart set pretty much on the rt/s's because i dont do any off roading, and i know the at/s's are a little more aggresive. i do a lot of highway driving, and i dont really want the extra tire noise from the at/s's, but i could probably be persuaded.

so, guys, what are the differences between the at/s's and the rt/s's? which one would better suit me? (probably the rt/s, im sure.) if i decided on the rt/s's, i would only have to wait a week anyway to get them.

another option would be to get the 4 rt/s's put on right now and just wait till the 5th one for the spare came in, but heres the deal with that: id rather have all the tires on one receipt, because 2 receipts gives ford more of a chance to screw up my reimbursement. also, the guy at the second place told me that goodyear corporate offices are telling the tire places to cool off on ordering rt/s's because those are the tires that ford will use as original equipment on new trucks - so he said itll be a few weeks before anyone can get any rt/s's. but the first guy said he could get one in only a week! what the he!!?

thanks all.
