Hi im Robert
I bought a 94 exploder recently.
I figured since I got it I might as well learn all I can about it and its capabilities.
Unfortunately I got all of 300 miles on it before the transmission grenaded.
I like the way it drives a lot so I think i might like to find a way to make it more dependable.
It has been in the shop for almost a month and im anxious to have it on the road again.

Assuming it was an auto, I'd go pick up the M50D (5 speed manual for our trucks) and swap that in if you want a dependable transmission. The swap isnt to hard and if you get all the parts all at once you can finish the swap in roughly a day even if you dont exactly know what your doing.
