I got my Groooooover this week! Best 70 bux I have spent! Maranda's Rodeo has BFG-Muds that will probably never see off-roading so I spent last night converting one of them into a all-terain. It worked really well! Tonight I will work on the rest. Then its on to my Muds and I will groove them out just the same so that they last a few thousand more miles. They are starting be way worn down and I want them to last and still perform off-road. This way I get the best of both worlds! Talk a bout a cool investment!

(do i really need to say this) PICS!!!

Got the rest done tonight... :) I will bring the camera home from work tomorrow to take some pics!

A groover is like a cutting tool for rubber tires Joe. :) It basically will cut through the rubber creating new "grooves" so that you can create your own tread pattern. The pattern I made for the muds should help them last a lot longer and keep them from wearing down as quick. It should also help out off-road performace too.

I got it at... http://www.afcoracing.com/

Well here they are... :)

On the Rodeo 30x9.5's.

A close-up of the 33's. As you can see I did the outside lug in these and not on the others. I can't tell you how they perform off-road yet as I am not done with them. I still have 4 more to go. :)

That is very cool, but it must have taken FOREVER!!

It was about 15 minutes per small tire. The bigger one has taken me a bit longer. I need to replace the blade so it doesn't cut through as fast and I don't want to force it to much. I would say it will take ya probably 30 minutes per tire to do.
