Okay, I am picking up a set of '03 Cobra wheels this weekend. I am trying to decide whether to get 275-55-17 or 275-60-17. The first size is the same diameter as my stock tires. The second is about one inch taller. I just don't want it to look small as I am not going to lower my explorer. What would you all recommend? and what brands have you all had good experience with in these similar sizes?

Thanks again for all your help,

Derek

i dunno... my cousin has 275/60/17's on a Tahoe right now, and they look really, really big. and thats on a Tahoe. its up to you, but id go with the 275/55. even if your not gonna lower it, they will still fill the fenders nicely.

Thanks James! Thats just what I wanted to hear, cuz I already ordered the tires! Thanks again for all your help too! :D

not that it matter since you already ordered em, but i too would suggest the 55's. big tires make the wheels look puny. cant wait to see the pics of the rims.

check out my pictures with that size if you want. they look plenty big imo

bah. i got bigger than that on my 98 sport ;) 285 60 r17, and surprisingly, they dont look wrong for the vehicle. a couple of guys are running this size, and every truck looks great.
