I'm just planning my trip to TDS and beyond. Here is a link to a map of the route I am planning on taking Dead Link Removed So far I've got a few stops planned but I'm pretty flexible. Any ideas for other side trips that are along my way or fairly close? I've got from Feb 23 to March 17 but I'd like to be home no later than the 14th.

So far what I've got is:

Portland, Oregon to see my aunt and uncle
Temecula, California to see my cousin
Truckhaven for TDS
Phoenix, Arizona to see my cousins and do some wheelin'
Canyon de Chelly National Monument to do some sight seeing
Four Corners National Monument to see what I can see see see.
Farmington, New Mexico wheelin'
Durango, Colorado wheelin'
Moab, Utah wheelin'

Paul, if you want to crash on the sofa/futon (it's got a real coil mattress, not the crap ones) here, your welcome. I'll be moved into my house by then; you will just have to excuse the mess. It's in Pinole, CA (north East Bay SF), which is about 1/2 the way between portland, OR and San Deigo (or, ask really nice, and we can take some time off, and visit Hollister Hills, and show you tank trap)

Let me know when you plan to be in Durango and I'll meet you there. I also have a place for you to crash in Colona (south of Montrose,CO) if your interested.
