"Greenhorn"

I would guess I would be considered a "Greenhorn" by Bearing Sea standards. I joined this forum with several goals in mind; try to find out what is causing the noise I hear coming from the left front of my 98' Eddie Bower, Explorer. I also want to try and find ways to increase the gas mileage of 5.0L V8 without sacrificing power.

Welcome to the last explorer site you will ever need to find. What kind of noise? Engine, drive train, suspension. I ask because after my replacement of the front wheel bearings to eliminate my sound. I found the rear differential carrier bearings were toast. If you are always driving the sound could be misleading.
