I have been having a problem for some time with my rear window wiper motor. i have tried several and they only seem to run a short while. I can hear it engage and then the click when power is removed, but the motor does not turn. The second item is that when it is slushy or snowy there is an erratic hesitation like a small jerk or transmission slip ans lastly my radio display has started to blink off and on, but the radio has no interruption. Could these actually be all tied together due to a wiring issue such as a bad ground? I am kind of grasping at straws on this and hope someone can shed some light for me.

i should add that in regards to the wiper motor, the motor will work if I manually pull on the wiper arm.

sounds like the shaft might be binding. are you sure it's not pushed up against the sheet metal of the rear door? the mounting bushings for the motor seem to get really mushy w/age and the pressure of the wiper arm spring pushes the motor to the limits of the mounts. oh, and the motor itself doesn't ground to the body. the wiring makes the ground connection. if the motor works when you pull on the arm i'm thinking the shaft might me pressing against the sheet metal.
