gt-40 upper intake

Will a gt-40 upper intake bolt to the stock lower? I've been told by many people it would. Idont want to take my motor apart and find a problem. Has anyone done this?

i dont know if anyone has done it, but it will bolt up to the explorer lower. there is no reason to do it though, the stock X upper flows just as good if not better than the GT-40.
