Is there a guide on how to install an indash tv/dvd and install a PS2? I was at a few shops today and i was quoted on average around 350.00 to install this. I am sure I can do this myself. What parts would I need..meaning to hook the PS2 up? What would be its power source? I take it I would need an inverter or something right? I was looking on ebay at those 7inch indash tv's but I just do know how to go about hooking everything up. Any How To websites? or does anyone know? Thanks in advance!

Hooking up an indash screen and ps2 really isnt that hard. If you have experience with just normal HU's, it shouldn't be that much more difficult. Just a few more wires, and a wire going to your parking break. You will need to buy an AC power inverter to power the ps2. You can find those at Best buy for like 40 bucks. This will plug into your cigarette lighter and provide 1 or 2 115v outlets depending on what inverter you buy. Then you will run your a/v cords from your ps2 to the a/v box on your indash screen. My box is mounted under the passenger seat and the ps2 is located under the rear passenger side seat.

Thanks for that info, i have read some sites and it seems fairly simple like hooking up a regular system. This is what I actually wanted to do....... Use my PS2 and buy a 7" or bigger screen, not indash that way I still get my factory indash 6 cd changer, i think i just need a FM modulator to hook to the factory radio....right?

yes

If you plan on leaving the inverter in I would personally hook mine directly to the battery instead of the cigarette lighter....Either way don't forget to turn the inverter off when you get out..
