Gulches ORV in SC (was Durhamtown)

I'm not opposed to Gulches. It's a bit longer of a drive for me but probably more central for most. If we need to change the location to increase attendance, I'm all for it.

Works for me. Since we're the only two with a yes, and there seems to be more interest in Gulches, I'd say changing it makes sense. You could just change the thread name and edit the first post explaining the change and to skip to page 2 for more info. That would ensure those already subscribed to this thread would see the change without missing a possible new thread.

I'll have to do a scouting trip to Durhamtown some other time and post my impressions on here and whether it's worth it or not.

BTW, just for future reference, Durhamtown does have trails specifically and only for 4x4 trucks. They've been better known for the dirt bike and ATV trails but the past couple years they have been working on creating trails for us. Again, I'll have to go check it out and report back since it's pretty close to me.

Second week would probably be best. Doesn't matter which days of the week for me, but I assume the weekend would be best for most. I just need to nail it down sooner than later so I can request off work.

I think it'd be great if there were other models.

well gulches is only open on the weekend. and if there is any sign of rain they will close it. so its a close call

The weekend of 17-19 works for me. If it rains, maybe I'll run to Durhamtown if they stay open. Or, I'll just lay by the pool for a weekend.
