done the rear pads and shoes over the weekend ,not a bad job to do really...
the rear calliper bolts came out a easy ........nice and greased before
and apart from the usual struggle with the clips and springs the H/B shoes came out with out an issue ..
one handbrake linkage was seized , the old HB shoe linings were cracked but intact with maybe 3mm meat left....so I fitted the ChrisQ specials in there
Cleaned and copper greased the linkages and adjuster wheel , and adjusted up till tight then backed off a little ...
drove round the block with the hand brake on to bed in the shoes a little - re adjusted today and have 3 clicks and its solid I must be lucky with this,
seems my cable isn't stretched
enough of my waffle ....see if I don't have clouds of smoke from the back brakes when I next go out lol
hehe
