Handle and Locking Springs

A month ago my outside lock and power locks stopped working for driver side door. I could still open the door through the inside, so I knew that all hope was not lost.

After pulling off my door panel and inspecting I found that I had two springs broken. ONe is one of the springs directly hooked to the door handle, the other I found broken near the inside of the clamp.

The following day I went to the dealer to fiund out that I would have to buy the entire locking and handle units which are pricey for two springs, is there any place else I could get them?

A door handle assembly is about $50 and a latch assembly about $60 from the dealer. Thats about the only way you will get these parts... Unless you goto a junk yard and pull them yourself...
