First, I did search, but I may not be any good, didn't find anything other than a few other people over the years looking for some.

Are these available aftermarket, or do I need to dust off my 35+years old high school shop class bending/flaring skills and make my own? Lost the brakes last night, and lost all the fluid I put in after that. So truck is parked for now. I hate how brake lines rust around here. :thumbdwn:

And for that matter, are these the "normal" double flares or are they some sort of metric thing like GM did in the 90's on some of their stuff?

Thanks,
Russ

People have mentioned that they are available at dealers for a reasonable cost I really find it hard to believe but I havent been to a dealer in many years since I purchased my automobiles.
I have also seen placards at my local Napa advertising their own pre bent line line.
I replace brakes lines quite regularly myself and normally run the stuff like romex and flare my own ends. A 25' coil of line is about $25 at Napa.
These will be SAE firttings with double flares most that other BS is gone but there is some weird stuff out there. I always take apart before I buy

Thanks.
I need to get a flare kit and a bender anyway for a project car I am working on, so this will help my wife "see the light" that I need it now.
