Harmonic balancer changing questions?????

Ok i am going to be changing my harmonic balancer and was wanting to know what the best way to ensure i dont mess the cam timing up would be??? I would assume just rotata the whole assembly before taking off to top dead center and then just take the chain off and then replace the balancer and fix the chain in the same old toth as the last. Anyone have any better ideas or have done it before and have a few tips would be helpful. Thanks.

Removing the balancer wont change anything. The balancer will pull off the crank and everything else will still be tied in place under the timing chain cover and cant move out of time.:redexp:
