Harmonic Balancer Removal

Yes, I made up that long flat plate with three holes in it, two holes were for short bolts to mount it to the old harmonic balancer so the crank would not spin and the large center hole about 1.5 inches is where the socket went in to back out the 12 mm crank bolt with a ratchet extension. A tough job

Another easy way i've done is to just take a spark plug out stick a big screw driver into the hole then slowly rotate the pulley till the piston hit the screwdriver. That will lock up the rotation of the pulley.

in the 94 bracing a breaker bar will on hold the bolt you have to use a strap wrench .... I snapped a 3/8 adapter holding the harmonic bolt its righty tighty if you brace it it will just get tighter ???? it took quite a bit of air hammer 500lbs impact to get mine off and my harmonic wont budge looking for teckineeks to get my harmonic off the season of rust seems to be perfect for frustration here
I tried a little heat but I'm afraid that I will damage rubbers in the outer harmonic if I continue ... my puller is at max load on my 500/b impact and I got a 30 gall 150 psi compressor I might move to a 3/4 instead of a 1/2 inch hammer
