You still have to take the headlights apart and such, you should be able to save more by buying all the parts separately.

Go to the junk yard and buy headlights from a wrecked car that has projectors. Or cracked headlights and take the projectors.

^^^ Yep.

The headlamp assemblies, whether halogen, projector, HID, whatever, from OEM suppliers are usually better quality than a lot of the aftermarket stuff, which tends to be manufactured in China by obscure companies. You can probably get all the hardware out of a car at the salvage yard for much, much less than $499.
