Hatch window

Ok i've searched for my problem but no one has had it from what it looks like. My problem is that my hatch window does not lock on my 91 X! The door part locks but the window doesnt. When I try to lock it with my automatic locks and manually it looks like it is locked (the lock peg goes down where it should be when it is locked). But then when I try to open the window part the lock just pops up and I can open the window. Has anyone else had this problem? if so what did you do about it? or what can I do about it? Any help is much Appreciated! Thanks!

i'm having sort of the same problem but just with the lock on the hatch. it doesn't lock everytime with the keyless entry, sometimes you have to do it by hand. i would take the panel off like i am, and the problem will probably pop out at you. sounds to me like something dis-latched in your case. mine probably needs a shot of silicone grease. good luck.

Hmm... mine just likes to not lock... I have to hit the lock down with my hand for it to lock (with hurts sometimes, ouch...) Haven't figured out the problem yet
