Not sure what is worse, going to the dentist, getting a colonoscopy, going to the inlaws for dinner, being forced to watch Grey's Anatomy, shopping for used cars or searching online for new tire recommendations.
I guess shopping for tires isn't so bad, at least you are learning something from people on this board who wish to be helpful. But as you go through the reviews everyone has an opinion but just as you think you have found the Mother Teresa of tires someone comes along and shoots the good vibes down with a completely opposite comment. I wonder if the positive reviews I see for tires are from real people or from manufacturer's reps cruising the internet or if the negative comments are from competitors.
I've been searching this site for tires for hours. No need to give your recommendations as I have done several searches on this board and many others including tire rack, offroaders.com, blah, blah. What is really amusing is reading the complaints from people who bought All-Terrain tires but say things like "terrible tire, will never buy again, couldn't get out of mud that was 5 foot deep." Or better yet those who buy Mud Tires and say "Dang, these things are terrible, really noisy on the street."
