I hate to ask so many questions, but I have only had my truck for a little over a month now and still trying to learn it....here's what I have going on now...when I put the key in and turn it to the on/run position, in the message center it tells me to "Check Charging System", this light goes out once the engine starts and it hasn't flashed on at any point in time, and there are no issues with it starting or running.....is this a normal response to turning the key on, or do I have a potential problem on the horizon. It looks to have a fairly new battery.....no lights dimming or flickering....just the message when I go to start to truck...

It's a 2007 V6 XLT 5spd A/T

Thanx....Anita

The message is normal. When you turn the key before starting the engine, it detects a low voltage thus why you get the message. When you completely turn the key to the point where the engine starts, the voltage is back to normal parameters and the message turns off. If it happens while driving or does not go away after turning the engine on then there is a problem.
