Hazards are coming on when not hitting the switch. They come on and flash (not as bright as if you were to push the switch) then turn off then come on then turn off. If you push the switch they are brighter and normal. I pulled the flasher and they still do it.
Also the same day this started happening, my ignition switch won't start the vehicle. If I turn the key on, I acan jump the solenoid and it starts right up.
I just replaced the alternator, power steering pump+lines, alternator and belt.

I'm 100% sure I hooked everything up properly. I can't find any pinched wires or loose connections and the alternator is putting out proper voltage. I'm stumped:mad:

Sounds like your problem is in the steering column where the hazard switch and ignition switch are located.

Courtney, my fiance is driving it now while I type. She said that the little alarm light is blinking while driving it, really fast. I think this is it. I need to find the key set with the clicker and unlock it. thats sort of embarrising but then again a nice easy fix.

It was the aftermarket alarm system. I ripped it out and hooked everything back up as stock. The ignition was a stuck solenoid, a tap from a wrench freed it up. Getting a new one as a spare. thanks again
