I have the Sylvania SilverStar bulbs in my X. I think they are better than most other bulbs which claim to be close to HID color and brightness. I previously purchased the Piaa superwhite bulbs but they blew out in less than a year and the color and brightness wasn't as good as the Silverstars. The Silverstars will run you about 24.99 each bulb in www.Autobarn.com they are about $20 cheaper than the Piaa superwhites. I personally think the Sylvania Silverstars are better. I also had the Sylvania CoolBlue bulbs and they also weren't too bad. They were bright but the SilverStars produce a whiter light than the coolblues, but the coolblues are about $12 each. But I recommend the SilverStar bulbs for a bright white color, but if you want them too look like HID lights I don't think any bulb can compare to real HID systems. I have Hella Rallye 4000 Motorsport Driving lights on the front of my X and when I compare the color and brightness to my headlights, there is no comparison, no matter what the company claims. Hope this helped your decision.
