Header bolts ?

What is the torque on the bolt that mounts the header to the head?
I found my leak and the issue but and afraid to tighten too much and snap the head off the bolt.

I am not aware of a torque spec. Tight. I wouldn't exceed 35 ft lbs or so though.

It already has TMH's. It should be cracked or broken.
I am pretty sure its the bolts not having a proper torque because it went away when i kind of tightened them two days ago. Thanks for the info though

Oh, well, next time please provide a bit more information. I assumed you were dealing with stock components. Geez, we could have cleared it up in the first post.

It might help if you updated your profile a bit to include the vehicle make model year and engine.
