I went to adjust my headlamps last night, and when turning the vertical rod for up/down, it just spins in the plastic holder. I didn't notice any change in light pattern. Same for the other side. Is there any way to repair that?
I've checked this forum, as well as another with no success.
Thanks in advance.

I think you will have to replace the adjuster screw assemblies. You might look in a Haynes manual for more information.

Thanks for that.
A few months ago I replaced both headlight assembly's and the corner light assembly's. Headlights were original, and yellow. Cleaning them didn't get great results. I think I pitched the originals that had working adjusters. ARRGH. Oh well.
Again, thanks!! :)

Anyone know if most replacement headlight assemblies come with the adjustment rod or is that separate? Never had them off of my 3rd gen.
