Is there an easier way to replace the headlight housing on a 96 ford explorer? I removed the battery and still cant get to the clips. Does anyone have any pictures or suggestions???

Remove the Grille Shell (easy). Joe Dirt put up a summary thread recently combining some info on how it's done using a site I found that sells aftermarket grilles. Check the archives.

What Celly said.

Reoving the grille is the only way. You will need to remove your corner lights as well.

Ya thats what I had to do last night and snapped the top corner of it :(

but it worked and I only lost 1 screw :)

Jeez those are a pain, remind me not to do them next time.
