I am puzzled after reading my owner's manual for my 92 ex. Under the replacement bulb section, it says the headlight switch bulb size is 1815. But I have heard on here that there is no bulb for the switch. After taking the switch out, I found it to be closed up by three rivets. If there is a bulb, im guessing its inside the switch body. If there is no bulb, why is it listed in the manual? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know, there is no bulb for the headlight switch on a 92. Ford saves money by generically printing sections of owners manuals that cover several vehicles.

No bulb for the headlight switch. It's just a pull out knob on a stick.
