headlight wiring

My 93 x has a problem with the interior dash lights not coming on. It is not the light bulbs or the switch they have all been replaced but the harness at the switch is fried. you can move it around and they will work but not with any consistency. can you get a new harness or do I need to strip the wires and splice them. Thanks this is my first post.

Check with your local dealers parts counter. Splice in "pigtails" are usually available for this type of thing. You can get by with crimp style connectors but I much prefer soldered joints and shrink tubing.
