Headlights stay on

I'm new to this forum as I have just purchased a 93 explorer.I had it out for the first time and while sitting in a restaurant the headlights came on by them selves and stayed on. The headlights and park lights all come on.I triied wiggling the switch and turned it on and off a few times but know difference.I have a wiring harness for my rearview mirror but no mirror, if it has auto lights, if the mirror is missing would it affect them. I also have daytime running lights. Everything worked fine for the first 1/2 hour of night driving then this happened. I had to disconect the battery to turn them off

I pulled the autolamp relays tonight and everthing seems to be working. It must be something in the dash energizing the relays.???
