I was trying to find out why my heat was not working ( found out blend door issue) but in the process I can not figure out if I might have broken something else. To the left inside the glove box there are two values or solenoids both silver. The one on the top is not the question it is the other silver one on the bottom with a slim metal rod that seems to move back and forth for a vent maybe. I was playing it and maybe broke it, it still moves back and forth and everything seems to work but my question is it supposed to be attached to something the arm that is. I can feel it but it is not hooked to anything, thanks Mike

Those actuators control the air direction (defrost, vent, floor, etc). If those controls work, then it ain't broke....yet. It's another of the common problems with these. Luckily, both I have fixed have been easy fixes.

Thanks at least I do not have to fix that problem, the blend motor on the other side went out and I was trying to find the lever to turn to hot and thought I broke something else.
