I have a 1994 Explorer. The heater fan will work most of the time and when you need it the most the fan will not work on any speed. It always starts working but you never know when.Hunting season is coming and the last thing I need is to get back to the car freezing my but off and have not work.Any help would greatly appreciated. Thanks Ed from South Jersey

The blower motor resistor is the the likely problem. Cheap & easy to replace. It's in the heater box on the passenger side of the engine bay. 2 bolts & it pulls out. It has a large electrical connector.

Thanks I'll replace it tomorrow Ed From South Jersey

Its your blower fan relay....Had the same problem.....Your fan will work on any speeds then your fan will just not work on any speed? When your fan doesnt work take a relay and swap them see it that works. If it does then u know its a relay... Pop the hood to your left you will see a black box thats the relay box....
