Heater Help for a noob :)

Couple questions about my heater system, first where does the water temp indicator usually run for the OHV 4.0? Mine is running pretty close to the low side,, and I notice that the heat coming from vents, with the temp controller set to max hot, isn't all that hot? I'm kind of thinking I may have a stuck T-stat? any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks guys, I think I'll give replacing the T-stat a try, mostly because the heat does come when the temp comes up..

That definitely sounds like the thermostat. My Explorer was doing the same thing...got a new thermostat and all is well, plus gas mileage went up 4 MPG to 18 MPG mixed driving.
