I have a job coming up that involves the hot cold selector. It is on a 2005 explorer, engine size unknown. I do know it was replaced. Now the problem is, after the engine was replaced, when you go from a/c heat and vice-versa it makes a clicking noise. I originally thought the blend door actuator but it isn't that. What could the issue be. Im thinking it is the white tempature selector on the side of the vent box behind the center console. It is a noticeable clicking. I need to know if that is where I should start and the correct name for it. Never had this issue on any vehicle before.
